The browsing experience at Retool spans many surface areas where different personas (admins, developers, and end users) create, discover and use internal apps. As part of a small design team, I was involved across the entire design process: conducting and moderating research, defining personas and their needs, and prioritizing features in close collaboration with engineering and product.

The focus of this project was twofold: improving app discoverability and designing a new feature called Projects.
